✦ Paragraph Fixer
Fix Broken Paragraphs Online — Repair Split Lines Instantly
PDF-copied text and OCR output often have line breaks in the wrong places — mid-sentence breaks that chop up paragraphs. This tool rejoins them intelligently while preserving real paragraph breaks.
About
Why does copied text have broken paragraphs?
When you copy text from a PDF document, a scanned page, or certain web pages, the text doesn't arrive as flowing paragraphs. Instead, each visual line of the original document becomes a separate line in your clipboard — so a paragraph of five sentences might arrive as 20 separate lines, each ending mid-sentence.
This is one of the most frustrating text problems to fix manually because you'd need to go through and delete hundreds of individual line breaks. TextClean's paragraph fixer does this automatically: it detects lines that end in the middle of a sentence (not ending with a period, question mark, or exclamation mark) and joins them back into a single flowing sentence.
At the same time, it preserves real paragraph breaks — blank lines between paragraphs — so your text structure remains intact.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does PDF text have broken lines?
PDF documents store text as fixed-width lines on a page. When you copy this, each visual line becomes a separate line of text, even if it was part of the same sentence.
Will this mess up my bullet points or lists?
The paragraph fixer only joins lines that don't end with sentence-ending punctuation. Lines ending with a period, colon, or in the middle of a list are usually preserved correctly.
What if I just want to remove ALL line breaks?
Use the 'Line breaks' button instead — it removes every line break and joins everything into a single paragraph.
Does it work for OCR text?
Yes. OCR-extracted text from scanned documents has the same problem as PDF text and benefits from the same fix.
